CheckMate a breast cancer risk assessment quiz

I worked in partnership with the Brem Foundation to Defeat Breast Cancer to create a CheckMate, a user-friendly quiz tool to help those at risk detect signs of breast cancer early.

The behind the scenes process

Alongside my development partner, Nonbinary Coding, we prototyped the potential pathways and collaborated on how to make this tool as helpful and simple as possible.

Before designing the logo or user interface we aligned to a visual direction. At this point in the process we aligned to the color palette, fonts and some design style inspiration.

Feedback & Accolades

Wow – just finished the CheckMate risk quiz and printed out my assessment. What an incredible experience! It was quick and easy – the educational sections throughout were super helpful – love how even though I selected that I’m white – the prompt popped up educating me on the fact that certain women are more at risk. And love all the graphics and the easy way through the quiz.  Your team is killing it and I will definitely share this on social media before the end of BCAM.

Did the quiz from my phone yesterday and it looks fabulous!  Going to play around a bit more but can already see it’s going to be an incredibly valuable resource we need to get out to as many people as possible!!
